Chris
After studying classical trumpet at school, performing with Wind Bands and Orchestras at the Royal Festival Hall and Albert Hall, Chris cut his teeth in Soul and Ska bands in the Southampton area. He progressed onto UK and European tours with Bad Manners, appearing on Italian TV and supporting the legendary Skatalites in Milan. Chris is credited for performing on the Bad Manners Heavy Petting album, and has a solo feature on the track 'In the Jungle'. Sessions with 80's stars Katrina and the Waves and Paul King and many others followed.
As a founder member of DB Horns with Tom (Trombone) and Sam (Saxes), he now tours UK theatres with Talon - best of the Eagles and And Finally - Phil Collins Tribute. Chris has his own Ska band 2Toned and enjoys performing Ska, Soul, Funk, Jazz and Classical.
His major influences are Maurice Andre, Clifford Brown and Winton Marsalis.
